It’s running season for me. What I mean by that is that I am getting right back into running, after a couple of month’s hiatus.
During the time that I was not doing it, I sorely missed the exhilaration and intensity that I felt whenever I did some running. It started off as a simple exercise for me to complement my stretching and also improve my physical and cardiovascular strength. It soon came to be much more than that however, as it gradually developed into a major part of my own lifestyle. I did it continuously, and have developed a regular schedule for it that I fitted around my work schedule and other activities.
A couple of months back however, I was forced to stop running for a while. The company I was working for assigned me to a new destination which is quite far from the city that I live in. I also got swamped with assignments, which is why I could not fit running into my schedule for the duration of that new assignment, which was two months. That kind of threw me off track, as I found myself missing my routine pretty badly. So imagine my relief when the assignment was over and I was back in town. It also meant that it’s running season for me once again.
When I finally did get back, I knew that I need to have some new equipment ready. I was aching and burning to run again, and I wanted some new shoes that can keep up with my burning intensity to run again. I researched what the best shoes might be, and I found that New Balance trail running shoes are the best ones available. I thought that getting trail running shoes would be great and it turned out to be the right decision for me.
