credit: jenswansonI was inspired after having watched the movie Gladiator to go out and get myself a pair of mens gladiator sandals so I could dress up like the main characters from the film. I was a little bit surprised at the lack of men’s gladiator sandals that are in the market today.
I first went to my local shopping mall to visit some shoe stores to see what types of products they have in stock. Unfortunately they did not have any gladiator sandals and the particular style that I was looking for. I really wanted to get an authentic look so I could really appear to be one of the characters in the movie rather than someone who wanted a pair of fashionably leather sandals. I guess there is a lot more demand for sandals that appeals to the masses rather than costume accessories like the ones that I was looking for. I ended up going online and looking for a website that would give me the information that I was looking for along with links to places where I could purchase the sandals. I came across a few sites that offered legitimate information and customer reviews that then pointed me on to Amazon.com which they suggested as the best place to make the purchase.
When I was on Amazon I also found a bunch of gladiator sandals for women that I also wanted to check out for my girlfriend. My grow friend and I are involved heavily in live action role-playing which requires us to wear costumes that are as authentic as possible. She ended up picking out a pair of gold gladiator sandals for women which looks exactly like a parrot that one of the royal family members during the holy Roman empire may have worn. Gladiator sandals for women are much easier to shop for.
